A Pesar del Tiempo / In Spite of Time

This body of work unfolds as both a mosaic-like installation and a series of individual photographs, allowing open associations between image and text. Produced through in-camera double exposure, it embraces chance and unpredictability over control. Fragments of text, removed from their original contexts, are reconfigured alongside photographic images, generating new meanings through displacement. Operating like an exquisite corpse, these combinations evoke a persistent, mantra-like subtext—one that emerges through repetition and continues to resonate in spite of time.
